Happy Skincare Sunday everyone! I love night creams, and I have quite a few I rotate through on a regular basis! Night creams come in as the last step of your nighttime routine; I always use a regular moisturizer before applying my night cream because to me, night cream is for extra moisture, not to be used instead of a moisturizer (just my preference though, I love my multi-step routine!)
Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep ~ $52.00. Vichy laboratories created a powerful synergy of active ingredients capable of stimulating all of skin's deep sleep mechanisms to recreate and optimize their repairing effects.
Fresh and cocooning gel-balm texture for a unique sensorial experience. Combined with facial massage that is designed to help relax before going to sleep.
Relaxing and calming jasmine and green tea.
I have been loving gel-textured creams lately - they feel so smooth on the skin and are really moisturizing!
I love the steps that Vichy suggests you use with this night cream!
1. Apply a thick layer 1-3 times a week
2. Close your eyes, and let this fresh balm-in-gel infuse the skin for 10 to 15 minutes. Breathe in and take the time to appreciate the refreshing feeling of the product. Gently massage any excess onto the skin. Place your thumbs on the temples and the ring fingers in-between the eyebrows and apply a relaxing pressure.
There is nothing better than a face massage being suggested with night cream! I really like this cream - the texture is amazing and after you let it absorb and massage it in, it is the perfect step before heading to bed! I have been using this a couple times per week and my skin has been very happy with it - my skin always looks smooth and refreshed in the morning. I'm very happy with this and this jar is very big so it will last quite a while!
