HEROES WEEKEND!!

On Monday, October 18th we celebrate our Jamaican National Heroes with a public holiday to reflect on their contributions to our country and so this weekend is dubbed 'heroes weekend'. We know every holiday weekend there are parties in abundance. Most people are heading out of town, Ocho Rios specifically, to rave and relax. Unfortunately my country plans mash up so my "rave and relaxation" will take place in town:) And although I'm a little late with this post I do hope all those heading out of town today or tomorrow are packed with these essentials!

1. Take care of the skin first!.. According to amazon.com this is one of the best sun protectors

2. SUNGLASSES
Having a cool pair of shades wil do wonders for your outfit as you hit the beach this weekend.

3. POLISHED NAILS!
Stay away from the mulitcolored nails please!...go for a clean chic look..toes and nails in the same color..
My favorite shades now are baby pink, hot pink, red, anything metallic...my sister has on periwinkle, its a light purple that's very nice or you can go for a dark purple.

4. A HEADBAND!

Yup, I'm still plugging lol (check out the post on HEAD by JB). It's a serious thing though, when you hit the beach or the pool this weekend you'll want to keep your hair out of the way while still looking cute...pin up the hair then top it off with a cute headpiece, it will dress up even your swimsuit that you're just chilling in, Look cute effortlesly!

5. ANIMAL PRINT ACCESSORY

Animal print is a very timeless print... If you don't by now you should have something in animal print...a bag, a purse, your swimsuit, a scarf...something!

6. INVISIBLE OIL BLOCKING LOOSE POWDER- BLACK OPAL

OK, I don't go anywhere without this, I have oily skin, just being real here... keep your skin looking cool and fresh with this..and its an invisible powder so it works for all shades. Having a nice glow is cool but not when its pure oil...
